What Are Some Other Words Instead Of Using I?

Hey, I find this annoying all the time. Hope my advice helps :-D
when avoiding the word 'I' try to substitute your answer
example: I tried to level out the chemicals as this was very important
answer: Making sure the chemicals were leveled out correctly was very important.
