The equation of line when two points are given is;

(x-x1)/(x2-X1) = (y-y1)/(y2-y1)

in the given question;

(x1, y1) = origin = (0, 0)

(x2, y2) = (2, -2)

Put values in general equation;

(x - 0) / (2- 0) = (y - 0)/(-2- 0)

x / 2 = y/ -2

-2x = 2y

Dividing by 2 on both sides

y = -x

This is the required equation of line. It is a straight line and present in second and fourth quadrant.
