Unfortunately, the intake for the 2011 Sasol learnership training program is already oversubscribed, meaning that you will have to wait and apply for next year's course instead. If you wish to do this still, you can visit the website at www.sasol.com and follow these instructions:
• Access the page on the careers part of the site and you will find information on applying for the next year of the course. There is also information on what the course is about, who they are looking for and what you will gain from your training experience with Sasol. There is a list of benefits that you will gain from joining the scheme which you may find very helpful in your decision to sign up for the job.
• You need to actually apply online to book your place on the next course, so you need to click the hyperlink at the bottom of the page where it says "Apply: Online". Before even applying, you need to realise that you need to have a CTA or an equivalent such as a SAICA accredited Bcom Hons degree, but only in accounting. Alternatively, if you have applied for CTA in 2011, you will need to have completed it and passed in 2011, to get on the Sasol 2012 course.
• The application will require some details about you when you are filling in the form online, which will probably include some kind of proof of ID which you will need to keep handy whilst you are filling in the online application. You may even have to send a form of identification off with your application through the post, to make sure that you are who you claim to be. If this is so, you will be provided with an address or maybe a prepaid envelope to send off.
