South Lanarkshire is a highly populated district just outside of Glasgow city centre. The council owns a number of properties including The Town House in Hamilton and Rutherglen Town Hall. The arts development team do a lot of work in the area including doing taster workshops in schools.
SLC run seasonable arts classes for all ages. Childrens' classes start from the age of 5 and the Young at Heart Programme also runs for the over 50s.
