You find a perimeter by adding the lengths of the sides. If one or more of the lengths includes fractions, you are in luck--fractions will be used to find the answer.

You can use these formulas to work with fractions.
a + b/c = (ac + b)/c
a/b + c/d = (ad + bc)/(bd)
