The perimeter length = 2 * width + 2 * length
if the width or thee length is an improper fraction then add the whole numbers and the fractional numbers separately. If you have an improper fraction convert it to a whole number + a fraction. For example
width = 2 1/4,height = 3 1/2
2* width = 4 1/2
2 * height = 6  2/2

4+6 + 1/2 + 2/2 = 10 + 3/2 = 10 + 1 + 1/2 = 11 1/2
