Urdu and English are the main ones. When I lived in East London, England , I learnt to speak Urdu so that all the lonely Pakistani Mums in the playground that did not speak English very well would have someone to converse with. I have forgotten quite a bit now as I am out of practice, but remember how to count to 31 and all the fruit and veg and colours and months and days of the week.
