C²=(6)²+(6)²-2(6)(6)Cos120
C²=36+36-72Cos120 ***Cos120=-0.5***
C²=72+36
C²=108
C=10.39230485
Therefore the other side is 10.4 yards long.

The length of the third side is between 6sqrt[2] (=8.49) and 12.

Because you said it is an obtuse triangle, we know the angle between the given sides is at least 90 degrees. 6sqrt[2] is the length of the third side if the angle is exactly 90 degrees. 12 = 6+6 is the length of the third side if the angle is 180 degrees.

Without knowing any angles, the area, or some other dimension or characteristic, two sides do not define a triangle.
