Is it a right triangle? If so you can use the pythagorean theorem to find the length of the third side by using a^2+b^2=c^2 with a and be being the two sides adjacent to the right angle and c being the hypotenuse, or the side across from the right angle. Otherwise it would be very hard to find the length of the third side of the triangle without knowing any angles.
The two side lengths are 12 and 18 and we need to find x
Legs, 24 and 10
Use pythagorean theorem to find it, place 12^2+18^2=c^2 c being the third side
Are 12 and 18 the angles?Or the cm's? Let me know so I can answer your question
Why are you people always wanting us to do your homework? To answer your question you will have to know the degree of one of the angles. N'est pas?
In your study of triangles, there are a number of formulas you use for finding
- perimeter
- area
- hypotenuse or sides of right triangles (Pythagorean Theorem)
- angles or sides of triangles (Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, trigonometric relations).
Based on the information you have, you need to work with one or more of these formulas to determine the information you seek.

B=3cm x=5cm
We know that the sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees, therefore assuming that the angles are A, B and C respectively. Assuming C is the missing angle of the triangle we have :-
A + B + C = 180
C = 180 - (A + C)
A + B + C = 180
C = 180 - (A + C)
I have a triange that is 13 cm for the long side and 12 cm for the base what is the missing length for this triangle
Find the missing measure in the triangle. Classify the triangle.
Base=
height= 50
area + 800cm2
height= 50
area + 800cm2
I have a measurement of 65, and 63 looking for the missing number
2-12
I have 2 side of a triangles measurements one is 12 inches one is 16 inches how do I find the other side. Another question...if the area of a triangle is 36 square centimeters how do I find the base and height
For example find x,y,z with two right triangles and side x=9 and the hypotenuse is 6.
The question is:FIND THE BASE OF THE TRIANGLE OF A TRIANGULAR PRISM WITH A HEIGHT OF 8 YARDS, ALTITUDE OF 4 YARDS, AND A VOLUME OF 16 CUBIC YARDS?
If you got the answer right, you are now a geek and a nerd:D Peace!!!!!

To find out the length of the missing triangle you basically just do:
Base²+length²(now find the square root of the answer)=______
e.g.
2²+5²
=2x2+5x5
=4x25
=100(and the square root of that is 10)
=10
