3x^2-6x=0

3x^2 and 6x have common factors of 2x

so
2x(x-3)=0

if two things multiply together to give 0 then one of them must be 0

so x=0 OR x-2=0 so x=2

so the solutions are x=0 and 2

Checking this
3x^2=6x

when x=0

3(0)^2=6(0) giving 0=0 so x=0 works

when x=2

3(2)^2=6(2) giving 12=12 so x=2 works

hope this helps

The factoring is wrong, but the answer is right. 3x^2 - 6x = 3x(x - 2), so x=0 or 2.
