The admissions list for the academic year 2010/2011 is no longer available, but the admissions list for 2011/2012 entry has been released. You can find information about applying on the official IPS website. To apply you must purchase an application pack; these can be found at sale centers for 75 Ghana Cedis. Alternatively, they cost 80 US dollars to international applicants. Check the admissions page of the website to find out which sale center is nearest to you.
  • Am I good enough?
The IPS only takes students who have previously performed well in academic examinations, to ensure everyone has the capability to complete higher education courses. To find out what your admissions criteria will be, you should see what categories your previous qualifications are in. If you took the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, you will need to have passes in five varying subjects; these subjects should include English language, mathematics and science. Overall a score of at least 24 must have been achieved. International applicants may be taken on the basis of achieved alternative qualifications to the same standard; you should check with the IPS to find out what these are.
  • What does the IPS have to offer?
The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) offers a range of professional, degree and post graduate programs. Courses such as accountancy and marketing are available for those looking to work in an office environment. Business administration and global leadership courses will also help those looking to secure a corporate position. The IPS strongly believes it is important to offer only relevant degree courses that will help candidates find a well paid job.
