JAMB is an examination board based in Nigeria. The cut off mark for accounting in 2011 is 200 points or marks. This cut off mark is the same for all schools, colleges and universities, as it is a universal cut off mark.

  • How to find your results
To look up your result yourself, you need to go to the JAMB website, www.jambonline.org. To enter the site, you will need your student registration number and the year that your studied in. This will then take you to your results page. You will not need any other information to access your results.

  • Cut off marks
Cut off marks for all the courses offered by JAMB vary. Some courses such as technology and graphics have cut off points of 160, whilst courses such as maths and languages may have had higher cut off points, to make sure that only the best students get through and pass the course.

If you have any questions regarding your results, talk to your tutor. They will be able to point you in the right direction as to what to do next, whether you have passed or failed to exam. There is always the option to resit the exam if you didn't do very well.
