How to get better at writing stories? I'm good at being descriptive while writing articles but it's different when I wanna write stories.

All I can tell you is this.  My daughter is a writer.  She has always been huge on reading!!!

I'd say just practice a lot. When I started writing, I didn't really know how to start. But I did use the Internet to find writing prompts to inspire me, and just wrote whatever came to mind. I also had people read over what I wrote to make sure I got the reactions I wanted (: If you want, you can PM me for help!
