When two points of a line are given, then the slope of this line can be calculated as;

slope= m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

let, (x1,y1)=(3,-5) & (x2,y2)=(-4,-6)

so slope of the line is;

m= (-6-*-5)/(-4-3)

m=(-6+5)/(-7)

m=-1/-7

m=1/7

m=1/7 is the required slope.
