The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board or (JAMB) is in fact Nigeria's official entrance examination board. The examinations that are usually organised are readily available for the majority of students who decide to further their career at Nigerian public and private polytechnics and universities.
Yet most of these pupils must have already finished their external examinations which are either done by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the Nigerian National Examinations Council (NECO).
By the mid 1970s there were a number of federal universities in the country who conducted their own individual examinations. But the JAMB board had a number of flaws including its grading system which was subject to a tremendous amount of controversy during the 2009 UME (University Matriculation Exam), which is in fact one of the JAMB's most popular services.
There are some sites where you can obtain CDs and course curriculums for JAMB including Jamb Tutor. This site allows people to prepare for their standardised exams in an on-the-move manner thanks to their ground breaking on-the-move testing and reporting platform.
Jamb Tutor has the chance to cater for all students who have a burning desire to not only learn but to obtain information regarding Physics, Maths and even Biology. It specifically tailors the requirements of Nigerian students preparing for their U.M.E Jamb examinations.
It has a particular ability to automatically grade and report user’s performance on most of the subjects that are covered on the U.M.E tests. You will need to register initially to use Jamb Tutor at and it is fast, free, secure and most importantly private.
