Should We Have Recess In Middle School?

I think that all grades should get some form of recess.
Obviously when they get older they wouldnt be playing out side.
But it gives everyone a chance for a break.
Recess benefits everyone, from students to teachers to parents helpers around the school.

I think everyone should have recess because everyone needs a break to have fun and get to go outside to play for a little

If we asked factory workers to go 8 hours without a bread they would go on strike     kids need recess

I think middle school students should have recess because they need to get there energy out.

I Think All Grades should have some kind of recess because recess is kind of a way to rest from all that dang wor I didn't ever really like school

Yes! In my school we are not allowed to talk so much at lunch because we have to eat and we don't have much time to even eat! And sometimes its rainy or snowy so we can't have pe inside!if the students are working and not letting out energy they WILL stress and not do good classwork!

Yes I think that they should so that they can get out some energy and have a break because we all know that they don't have a very long attention span.

At my school we don't have gym or anything, so I really think middle schoolers should have recess to get their wiggles.

It all depends on how your school runs. I'm in High School and still get recess, but it's only because I'm in a private school. Having recess for Middle/High School Students can have its perks, but can also take away from class time for schools that have shorter learning days than others.

Yes we should have recess in school's because it give's us more time to talk to kid's that we chill with and a brake from homework and test and school workkk . A lot of figth;s happen in my school thats why we are on lock down but we still need time

I mean were in a lot of stress at this time a few min would be good for our brain it would balance out study and entertainment

Yes. I have a sport after school and I get home after 5. So basically I don't see the sun for more than 9 hours. Then I have homework.

fest and they have ...what 2 minutes they need time to have real fun.

I think there should be recess at school because students need time to get a break. They also need to socialize with there friends and not so much on school work.

I  middle belive schooler's deserve recess they are stuck in classrooms all day it gets boring and maybe if they would get recess there behavior would improve

Time to grow up kids. We don't have time to play. We have like fifty classes. How are you going to learn if you are worrying about playing. It also depends on the school. If your school is getting pretty good grades and all that jazz, then go ahead and have recess. Thats my opinion.

I think they could so they don't get obese. It will help cut down on the u.s. Obesity.

Recess is for grammer school, in middle school it is time to start buckleing down and getting an education. What would a middle schooler do with recess time except get into trouble. Gym class should suffice to burn off excess energy.

I don't think we should because we already don't have as much time in school as we need to already and why would we take up the time that we need just to play??? I mean think about it! We already get to go outside in gym class and get to socialize at lunch
