At the moment Greensboro, NC does not offer any free CNA classes, but there are many other locations in North Carolina that do. In Haw River, the Alamance Community College has CNA classes, while in Graham the Alamance Community College’s Carrington-Scott campus runs training. You can take classes at the Ashe Campus of Wilkes Community College in Jefferson or the Avery Campus of Mayland Community College in Spruce Pine. In Morganton both Broughton and Western Piedmont Community College offer free CNA classes and in Hickory the Catawba Valley Community College does too. Across in Murphy, the Tri-County Community College provides CNA training while in Fayetteville the Fayetteville Technical Community College has classes running. You can find contact details for all of the colleges listed above at cnatraininghelp.com/cna-classes/cna-training-in-north-caroli

There is a mix of Certified Nursing Assistant classes available in North Carolina. In order for a course to be state approved it must meet a set of standards that are set by the state. A CNA course will teach students everything they need to know to be able to perform their duties as a nursing assistant. Nursing assistants should be able to communicate well with other members of the healthcare team as well as with their patients. Good CNA classes will offer quality education and flexible schedules, some allow students to carry out the non-clinical part of the course online. As part of the clinical training, students should be trained working with patients in regular healthcare settings so that they are fully experienced before becoming qualified. Initial Certified Nursing Assistant courses will train students to sit for the Nurse Aide I exam. This qualification, combined with clinical experience, prepares students for a career as a nursing assistant. There are some CNA classes in North Carolina that are not free but highly recommended. The Caring for Life, LLC program in Jacksonville is one of the best the state has to offer but will cost approximately $350.

We do not have a free class but it is an accelerated CNA class taken in an 8 hour course near Charlotte, NC and the cost is $200 compared to a 4-6 week class that can cost anywhere from $600-$1,000.

It is taught by two RN's and it covers what to expect on the written part of the state exam and then we demonstrate the skills and allow students time to practice.

We have excellent references. For more details and class dates and references please visit our website at www.ncnurseaidetraining.com you.
