The Dimension of side C is 20.
To get this result you must go through the necessary calculations. There is a certain process you need to go through to find the dimensions for the sides of a right angle triangle; the calculation is known as The Pythagorean Theorem. It is important to understand that a right angle triangle has a 90 degree angle and two others, and the Pythagorean Theorem states that in order to find the sides of a triangle you need to do the following equation:   A squared + B squared = C.

The side C is the side that is opposite the 90 degree angle which is known as the hypotenuse. So, if you already know the sides of A and B then you will be able to find C. In this case, you have stated that side A is 2 inches and side B is 4 inches. The first part of the equation you need to do is to find the square number of 2. To find the square number, all you have to do is multiply it by itself, therefore the square number of 2 is 4. To find the square number of side B all you have to do is multiply 4 x 4 which is 16. Now you have the two numbers you need to complete the equation:
4 + 16 = C, the answer is 20.
